Organise your Customer Contact Points
Customer Service
Make sure the point at which you serve your Customer is set up to do it efficiently. Ask yourself the following questions about our contact point:
- Is the contact point clearly market for the Customer to find you (if in an office, showroom or shop situation?
- Is there enough room for a number of Customers to be served at the contact point?
- Is there a comfortable waiting area when it is necessary to wait for service?
- Do you have everything you need organised to serve the Customer quickly and right the first time?
- Make sure there is enough room to show or demonstrate the product or service if necessary.
- How do you avoid interrupting the Customer service experience – There’s nothing more frustrating than waiting to be served and when you get to the front only to have to wait again because someone (who hasn’t waited at all) called on the phone?
