Networking is an enjoyable way to market and develop your business – and it simply involvesmaking opportunities to tell other people about your business. How much of your business comes from word of mouth? What if you could get other people to talk about your business to others positively? There is a range of ways to network, including:
- Staying in contact with current Customers – they should be your best ambassadors.
- Keeping family and friends up to date on your current business developments & successes.
- Hand out business cards every time you can.
- Carry extra copies of your corporate profile to hand out if someone shows interest in your business
- Join a new social club or community group – everyone likes to know what the new member does for a living.
- Join a networking group – there are many including the local Chamber of Commerce.
